Welcome to The Uncommon Ones
Ran by Ian Osby, professional skier and coach for men who know they're capable of more. Ian helps you gain clarity on your vision, build discipline, and build a life you're proud of.

Why You Feel Stuck (And How to finally Break Free)
The quiet dissatisfaction eating at you, how I built a way out, and what it feels like to finally break through to the other side.
The problem
Here's what nobody talks about: you can have your life pretty put together on paper and still feel completely lost. Work's okay, health's decent, life looks normal from the outside. But there's this quiet dissatisfaction that won't go away. You've tried gym memberships, self-help books, and "this time will be different" promises, but nothing changes. You keep ending up back where you started.

The solution
I've been exactly where you are. Life's not falling apart, but it's not moving forward either. You're just kinda... existing. And that feeling that you're meant for more? It doesn't go away. That's why I created The Uncommon Ones to help guys like me finally have the tools, structure, and accountability, to take back control of their life and step into the man they are meant to be.

The result
Here's what changes when you finally fix this: you wake up with clarity instead of just drifting through another day. You follow through on what you say you're going to do. Your health is dialed in, your mindset is strong, and you're building something you're actually proud of. That feeling of dissatisfaction gets replaced by genuine excitement about the life you're creating.

You Know What You Need to Do
You can keep trying to figure it out alone, or you can get the structure, accountability, and support to take back control of your life. What's it going to be?
The values of an uncommon man
A structured approach that takes you from where you are now to where you want to be, with the support and accountability to make it stick.

Discipline Over Motivation
Motivation gets you started, but discipline gets you results. Uncommon men don't wait to feel like it—they show up consistently whether they want to or not. They build habits that make the right choices easy.

Growth Over Comfort
Average men choose what's easy. Uncommon men choose what's necessary. We embrace the discomfort of growth because that's where real transformation happens. Comfort is the enemy of progress.

Action Over Excuses
While other guys are explaining why they can't, uncommon men are figuring out how they will. We take responsibility for our results and focus on what we can control. No excuses, just execution.
"Uncommon Ones don't just dream about better lives—we build them. Through discipline, accountability, and real action. While other guys stay stuck in the same cycles, we break free and create the life we actually want."

FAQs
Answers to the most common questions.
The Uncommon Ones is a men’s coaching program led by pro skier Ian Osby. It’s a mix of fitness, mindset, and life coaching designed to help men break bad habits, build discipline, and step into the man they’re meant to be.
Men who feel lost, stuck, or “meant for more” but don’t know where to start. You’ve probably tried to change before, maybe even with some real effort, but it didn’t stick. Now you are ready to draw a line in the sand and commit.
It depends entirely on your commitment. Some men notice changes in their discipline, health, and mindset in the first 30–90 days. Others take longer. Your results are entirely based on your effort, consistency, and willingness to follow through.
No. Like anything worth doing, results depend on the work you put in. We provide structure, accountability, and guidance, but you are responsible for showing up and doing the work. If you’re looking for shortcuts or guarantees, this is not for you.
Schedule a 1-1 call with Ian. On the call you can run through your questions directly and decide if working together makes sense, and if this is the right fit for you.
